If you are like most people, you’ll want to know two things when researching a product or service:

Sounds great, but this type of support comes with a price tag and sometimes sticker shock. In our industry, it’s hard to get pricing from the website because often the answer is, “it depends.” So, how much does flat-rate IT service cost? It does depend on the options that you choose, but we think that it’s important to demystify the pricing. If you are more comfortable using a consumption-based service, we want to help you identify that as early in the process as possible.

One of the common complaints that we hear from prospective clients is that the billing structure is too complicated with their current provider.

Many IT Service companies sell an all-inclusive package, only to hit their clients with surprise overage invoices. This can lead to feelings of distrust and frustration as you are billed for services that you thought were included. It’s hard to run a company when you don’t know what your expenses will be on a consistent basis. With our flat-rate services, you pay a monthly fee and we keep your network running in maintenance mode.

Any work required to keep the network running is included in your monthly fee. We start with a base service called “Standard Maintenance.” This is responsive helpdesk support, automated patch management and any onsite support needed. This includes everything except for cyber security incidents. Our “Advanced Security” support is an optional but recommended add-on that adds advanced malware protection, encryption, password management and other layers of protection. With these two services in place, the only extra charge you’ll get from us is for project work.

Let’s walk through a couple of examples:

Example 1

Dental Office with 15 workstations (13 employees) and 1 on-premise server. They are using the Advanced Security package. (we charge for workstations or employees, whichever is fewer)

  • 13 employees x $100 per month for Standard
  • Maintenance 13 employees x $50 per month for Advanced Security
  • 4 seats of Office 365 Email / Office Products x $12.5 (MSRP on Office 365)
  • Included – Offsite cloud backups with hourly image backups and onsite backup appliance

$1,950 for monthly support agreement

$50 for monthly Office 365 software subscription


Example 2

CPA firm with 25 employees and 45 managed devices (desktops, mobile devices, laptops) and 3 fileservers. They are using Advanced Security package. 

  • 25 employees x $100 per month for Standard Maintenance
  • 25 employees x $50 per month for Advanced Security
  • 25 seats of Office 365 Email / Office Products x $12.5 (MSRP on Office 365)
  • 25 seats of Citrix ShareFile cloud file sharing solution x $15
  • Additional file server (we include support and backups for 1 fileserver for every 10 seats) x $300
  • Included – Offsite cloud backups with hourly image backups and onsite backup appliance

$4,050 support fee for 25 users with Advanced Security
